Privacy policy

Client Side Project Consultants respects your privacy. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as good practice, and this policy explains how.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or work with us, we collect what you give us:

• Your name, email, phone number and suburb
• Details about your project, such as its type, stage and budget
• Documents you send, such as quotes, plans and contracts
• Anything else you tell us by email, phone or in person

Our website host keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages visited, to run and secure the site. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser and isn't sent to us.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry
• To quote for and provide our services
• To keep records of our work, and meet our legal and insurance obligations

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when we need to:

• Services we use to run the business. Our website and enquiry form are hosted by Netlify, and our email is provided by Google. These providers may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.
• People involved in your project, such as your builder, designer or lawyer, but only with your agreement.
• When the law requires it.

We never pass your details to builders or trades for a referral fee. We don't take referral fees.

How we look after it

We keep your information in secure, password-protected systems, and only the people working on your enquiry or project can see it. We keep it only as long as we need it for your project and our legal and insurance obligations. Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted when we no longer need them.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email clientsideprojects@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
